Kelly Boone is a sweet, down to earth young woman who was born in Cuttlerville Michigan. She has an old brother and sister who are both married. She also has 2 adorable nephews Timothy and Jared who are one and a half and 5 weeks old. Kelly says that she is a lot like her mother yet gets her work ethic from her father. She has always believed that working hard is the way to success and this was taught to her by her dad. Her family ownes a boat therefore she loves skying and tubing. This is one of the may ways that Kelly and her family bond. She said that they are very close and enjoy spending time with one another.
Before choosing Kuyper she was attanding Grand Rapids Comunity College and was engaged. The wedding was called off and she decifer God's will about relationships. Kelly said "I felt called to sing but didn't know exactly what that looked like." When she heard about Kuyper she decided to look into their music program. She wanted to grow in her faith and enhance her music skills so she prayerfully decided to attend Kuyper and see what God had in store for her there.
One thing that stuck out to me during this interview was her saying that we as Christians need to use our girfts in proportion to our faith, and that is why she was going to Kuyper so she could inprove both her faith and her gift. Kelly is an amazing woman of God and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for the rest of her life.
